Bullet proof glass

Hi, I need to simulate a bullet impact on a bullet proof glass but I can't find any info online on how to approach this task, all info I find is about rendering impacts on normal glass.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Is this for offline rendering, or game art? Which softwares you have access to? From what I see by looking at some youtube videos, it just cracks a bit differently, based on the strength of the impact. Big "bubble", small focused cracks at the impact point. So there shouldn't be much difference between normal glass and bulletproof glass cracking, in terms of creation in 3d.

Is for offline rendering, and will do the simulation in maya 2014, gonna play with the values of glass and see how far I can get.

If you want to do accurate physics simulations, you need software designed for it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_computer_simulation_software

Maya, Max, Houdini, etc, are all designed for art over simulation.
