3.04 - long loading times for .obj [actually my fault]

since the new patch, loading obj files takes really long

i've been working with the previous version where my 2k tris .obj loaded instantly, after the patch it takes ~ 1minute to load

I just did a quick test here and a 500k OBJ loaded instantly, so there may be something specific with this file that is causing problems. Please email us at support@marmoset.co with a brief description of the problem and an OBJ file that demonstrates this issue. Thanks!

Okay that's great. If you can send an example obj + mtl so we can make sure we get this fixed for the next version that would be appreciated.

sorry EQ, for not beeing specific enough

i am working with photogrammetry data and somehow my lp had still the raw image data attached to the .mtl

and the image files are 500mb, so i guess its working as it should

btw, love the new baker, its so easy and fast to setup with really good results

no problem

i just didnt see the the imported maps since the spec was on 1 and the whole model was white
