I'm not the best concept artist but hopefully this works out! Ziggs needs a fancy ass coat and boots IMO.
He will be carrying a black hole on his back and throw some stars and shit.

I quite liked also those glam rock glasses in the second sketch you did in the first row
I also second what Motenai said hahaha, those Glam Glasses really bring some great character to the design!
Crazy idea, you definitely need to keep these glasses from sketch #2!
So i have spent the day struggling to make this design work. It just doesn't feel star-guardian or Ziggs enough so i think its back to the drawing board for me BUT here is some things i worked throughout today.
Mainly a lot of scrapping and redesigning really.
My main concern is that he is far too clean and slim so i need to chunk him up a lot more to give him that messy bomber look.

New visor idea? I like the little headpiece, i'm going to work on that a bit more but most likely make everything else in his costume 30x more extra.
And a really quick camera angle and FOV check in marmoset to see if the forms are clear (which they aren't lol).

Thanks everyone. Not much to show (and its all kind of messy/ugly) but hopefully i'll have some nicer less blobby stuff in the next few days as i work through it all!
After some feedback from Neer, Carlos Ruiz and everyone in my twitch chat we made Ziggs a bit more XTRA!
He is still a bit lumpy cause i only got to work on him for a couple hours today but here we go!
Now i'm just going to rebuild all the elements and work more on his face and hands to get out the sketch faze.
@DaoneT I like the explosive overlord idea! The main feedback i got was to push the explosive motif he has so i hope it continues to come across.
@specsowl there is a bit of a TTGL ref in there but only by suggestion of others, i haven't watched the whole show myself T^T
Here is a bit of an update! Refined some pieces on his head but i want to redo all the fur details i added. I haven't done fur before so i need to give it another try.
I love the glasses, these angles definitely make it pop well!
I'd say be careful with the fur strands as it can quickly add tris to the game model or eventually get erased while painting.
Also, the two floating cloth parts behind him seem very long to me, they might be out of how Ziggs' shape usually reads in all his skins.
Just my two cents, I may be wrong (°L°)
Good progress so far, I can already hear the sculpt annoyingly laugh in Ziggs' voice!

I will take a look at the tail coat with the game camera asap! I do agree maybe they are too long but i do want them to be visible even with the big ball strapped to his back.

I can never get three fingered hands to look good so that's the next challenge cause they just freak me out!
Mostly all the elements are there, i just need to polish them up and add a few details. Slow progress but i have some time off coming up so i really want to get this done on time!
