How should I convince my Aunt to undergo surgical operation

My Mom's sister was told by her doctor to undergo a surgical procedure to determine if the lump on her breast is cancerous or not. Her laboratories suggest some clinical impression of malignancy and the doctor wanted to be sure by performing a surgical biopsy. Now, she does not want to. I know that she's afraid to know the exact diagnosis, but we need to convince her to go under the knife. Please advise on what to do.
