Currently working on a portrait in Marmoset. Working on hair cards now but I still have a great deal to do. All other geo is placeholder. Decided to work on finalizing hair first as it's my own personal pitfall/time sink in a project. Just some screen grabs of WIP in marmoset.

Heya, sorry not too sure what you're specifically asking. Do you mean are these alpha cards? Or are they finalized? Either way it'd be a yes for both questions. I may go back and tweak though.

It's been awhile since I posted any progress but I've been able to pick at this with my spare time. All n all I'd like to say this is 85% finished. As you may be able to tell, I'm terrible at lighting but I'm experimenting with the scene for varying results. Due to the lighting of the scene, some pigmentation may be blown out because of how subtle some of them are. I'm mostly finishing the skin/lighting of the scene. On that note if anyone has any constructive criticism on the skin or lighting I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hair looks great. Skin could still use work though. Still a very nice piece!

Thanks @slosh! I did some more work on the skin but I don't think it's inherently obvious. This kind of skin is tricky because it's supposed to have a muted cool tone to it. At the moment I'm calling it finished to move onto another project. These are the final renders:

very nice work, but I think the skin looks pastey and too matte. I know she is wearing powder makeup like traditional Geishas but maybe add a little sss and some small specular in some areas.
