Maya 2017 Update 3 : Get Texel Density takes forever.

Hi polycount.
Can anyone confirm that this is a bug?
It takes forever for maya 2017 update 3 to calculate the texel density of the uv-shells?
If this is a bug what do you guys recommend?

I haven't run into this issue. I did notice that selecting a large number of faces and hitting Get will result in slow calculation time but that's because it has to average all the UVs that are selected. Does your problem also occur when running the Get command on a single face?

Thanks for the reply. When I hit the ''get command on a single uv-shell'' it's fast and almost instant.

you normaly do that only on one shell to copy the density over to the others...
