Students, if you feel like you're time is being wasted wherever you are with general education courses, or foundational classes, you can still make games.

Just volunteer your time responsibly, treat it like a "job" as much as you reasonably can.

You can make games to solve the "what 2-3 years experience do you have in game development?"

Look for universities, indie teams, etc. that might be looking for help.

    I just started working in a modding community, which I'm pumped about. Only thing is that they plan to have the mod ready in about 2 years. So while I'll get experience working on a team, in interviews, I won't be able to say I've got any completed projects for 2 years.
