Texture filtering on Unwrap UVW - MAX (pixel art)

Disclaimer: noob question.

Hi, I´m starting to learn how to unwrap on max and I´d like to know if there is a way for the edit uvw panel to show my png (128x128) without anti alias. It is getting blurry and I can´t align edges correctly.

    Interesting! I work in max with small texture maps as well, but I've never encountered this.

    After some testing, it looks like this is a new issue for Max 2017. In the past, max would use no texture filtering in the UV editor, now it seems locked to the default pyramidal. Even worse, doesn't seem to respect texture filtering settings in the material editor! 

    I'd say that if it's possible, switch to max 16 or 15 for now, unless a better solution comes up in this thread.

    Wow, is it that bad? :o
    Maybe I should report it on official max forums for a fix?

    Seeing as its undocumented new behavior, it's worth a shot to post at Autodesk. Even if it is intentional, they should know that it's not the best for everybody. I have 17 installed but haven't used if for my low poly projects, this definitely means I won't be switching any time soon.
