The Admiral Character Sculpt [WIP]

Hi all, I started working on a character sculpt based on Icky H's illustration https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Wd2EE:

My goals for this project are:

- capture the emotion and pose of the original illustration

- really clean sculpt, especially the form lines and contours

- practice inorganic accessories

- hair and fur

Since last time I've adjusted the pose more, really trying to match the original illustration. I'm pretty happy with it except a few things with the human part.

I've also been looking at big cat anatomy and started dynameshing the tiger half and sketched in the major forms I want to capture.

At this point I think I'll keep dynameshing the body together and clean up the sculpt. Then I'll do the accessories.

Revised the pose more, combined all the pieces and cleaned everything up, then accessorized.

Not sure how much further I want to take it, might give a beauty render a shot with its current state.

The sculpt is looking great, nice form! I'd suggest making those hands a bit bigger through, they're just a slight bit too small

Good call, I tried making the hands slightly bigger. Also I wasn't a huge fan of how the headdress turned out, looked really sloppy so I tried smoothing it out. Definitely have been struggling with fur and need to find a better workflow, especially with short fur.

Great progress so far! You are missing the feline facial features of the concept tho.
