Old ZBrush Files corrupt

I was digging through some old ZBrush files and discovered that all of the ones created before a certain point which appears to be around December 2009 are corrupted when viewed in the current version (4R7) of the software.

Models created shortly after this seem to still work as they should.

I'm wondering whether anyone else had encountered this issue and whether there was a workaround.

It's a bit late but i just had the same problem with 4R7 and old files, i still have 4R6 installed and was able to open the tool with it.

yea you need to try it with an older zbrush. Ive had this happen to me before. I would say something like zbrush 4r2 or r3

Use the 32b it version of zbrush to open the old files, save them and open with the 64 bit version
