Search the Help file before asking questions like this. This has many benefits: you will often get the answer faster, you won't bug others with simple problems that are already covered in the Help file, and you'll find out other things you didn't know about the software.
That is a helpful resource.. but that did not help me find a solution.. I read both "setting up seems" and "peeling" tut from your link, which I already know, and nothing was mentioned on your link about removing peeled seems. I don't know why I am getting responses about creating seems when my question is specifically about removing seems. hahaha, what is going on? am I not being clear? Am I missing something here?

Maybe if you understood how unwrapping works you wouldn't laugh at the answers we've given.
you're not adding seams, you're over-riding them with different ones to create new islands.
