Zbrush loading ZPR problem

Hey guys,
I would really appreciate if anybody here could help with this. I recently started a model a model in Zbrush (about 19 subtools). I detailed it and kept saving the .zpr files in the numbered format after each step (like project01.zpr, project02.zp .... ). I reached upto step 3, I saved it and went to sleep.
The next day, when I tried to open it to work again on it, it was all disappeared. All my subtools gone, the only thing I see in my Tool menu is the simple brush icon and a sphere, and the there is no way to get it out of draw mode.
The strange thing is that the file is still 44Mb, so it seems like there is something in there, but even if I try to open any of my quicksave files I still get the same problem.
I seriously need help on this issue. Please help!

but first, check in to QuickSave directory, if youre lucky you probably got a ZPR file that Zbrush would possibily open without the issue you mention.
