Discovery One, main interior UE4

so i'm starting a new project, gonna put this in UE4, or try to, haven't worked with UE4 yet. so should be fun and a great learning experience.
here's my reference sheet, gonna start modeling after i finish digging my car out of all this snow in chicago.

i'm trying to figure out if i should do this modularly somehow or just go ahead this way. trying to get the scale right curently, reference isnt much help.

went ahead and decided to do this somewhat modularly. breaking up the majorly different wall assets into seperate wall pieces that i'll place over the base mesh above. first wall with a few buttons high poly done. not gonna put anything in Unreal yet, until i have all the pieces modeled, marmoset for now.

oh boy i haven't posted on this in forever, here comes everything i guess. i'm really really close to finishing all of the HP modeling, i have i think 2 major walls left. the wall with the piano and the weird protruding one which i need to find more reference for of what is inside it because it looks like some crazy VR station. the hardest part of this project is figuring out where everything goes and i figured out why it was so difficult for me. this shot right here, which i was using for most of my layout stuff, is flipped. The entire shot is flipped horizontally, i have no idea why but it has screwed me over so hard because i kept flipping the sides on where everything was and it's just been a nightmare. everything is colorful by the way for Color IDs because i'll be texturing with substance designer just plugging tiling textures in since there's really nothing like dirt or edge wear or anything like that going on here.

and here's all the modeling that i've done so far. by the way i took a long break from this and worked on some other random stuff. sorry i only have maya screenshots, i have only made a few LP models to put into unreal so there's nothing to show from that yet.

It's finally nearly finished, all textured, lit, just adding details like buttons and so on. i'll have more renders tonight.
these are screenshots from a flyby video i'm rendering from UE4 so they're a little blurry, i turned off motion blur but i guess it's still got some blur for some reason. i'll get actual steady screenshots once it's all done. Also, you see the piano keys, any idea why they're all different colors?
i made them entirely just one color but they're shading weird, i'm gonna try separating them from the wall model and applying their own texture to them maybe that will fix it.

here's some nice clear screenshots, i still gotta work out some shading issues and rebake some normal maps, i'm not happy with a few places, especially the big seam on the large circle, i might have to break that model into halves so i can have better texture resolution and no seams.

as you can tell this scene is very hard to take shots of lol, i have to use a very wide angle camera to be able to capture anything worthwhile, otherwise i would just have tiny segments of the walls.

added some chairs and tweaked some materials to make them a little more interesting. it's basically done at this point, just a few more assets on the other side of the scene have to be finished like the sleep pods and some sort of mechanical bed. check out the 4k shots on my artstation.
