Hi,

Maybe someone already had this problem.
Grey values of brush alpha disappears and it seems only white values remain. I have this problem with default and custom alphas. And it does effect painting.

Thank you for any tips how to fix it or to go around it.

This is currently being handled on Quixel Live Support. In the meantime, I would suggest increasing the size of your brush as you may not have enough texel density in the project to allow the faint values to appear.

Try painting the same spot (click several times without moving the mouse) to see what happens.

Looks like it's functioning correctly now. This is a common issue with faint brushes. It happens frequently in Photoshop as well. Sometimes you simply need to add more paint.

I still think this is some sort of error. I select an alpha, I get different brush, and then I need to click a lot of times and still I do not get the result displayed in alpha. And on top of it, it is really painful when painting normal maps in nDo.

I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that clears this up.

I have tried reinstaling prior posting here, and in Facebook support group

Anyway I found that other people had this probrem, and support guys fixed it for the next release. So I will just have to wait.
