  I'd brush back up on my proportions, golden value spacings, and planes of the face. You have some good forms but the oral and ocular cavity areas need the most work, followed by the ears and skull.

  Maybe, as @Aveon say, you could search some good references for the style you're trying to match. Could we see some concepts? The most important thing is to get a good shape and to take care of the facial anatomy and proportions between parts of it.
