Volcano Ridge Terrain

Hello,
I tried out Marmoset for the first time, rendering one of my terrains.
I was inspired by Volcanic Fissures like the ones you can find in Iceland

The terrain and color map were created 100% in World Machine, I retouched the renders in Photoshop.

I'm really new to all this, so feedback would be highly appreciated

Looks so sweet!! This could work nicely if 3D printed as a kind of decorative object (Put leds into the lava to make it glow).

True, I've seen a lot of 3D printed terrain models, often of real life landscapes, but they never seem to be colored, I'm not an expert in 3D printing, but my guess is coloring and texturing costs a lot of money.

Yes, that's all World Machine terrain, I'm looking into new tools to implement into my terrain creation, but for now World Machine is the best solution for me

Nice renders! The lighting in the first image is so sweet! However I'm not super fan of the DOF as it gives a miniature look.
Did you use the Geoglyph's addon for World Machine ?

I can really see this sort of work being used as a map in a RPG game for fast travel and such
