Hey I thought I would try and start a few material studies to get some of my texturing down for a future project. I am making this thread just to get advice and further my texturing skills, any input you guys have would be awesome.

it's a good start, but really poor in details ; it's create with photoshop and rendering with marmoset ?
Something like this
Near > a micro detail, like a hole or scratches.
Mid > for stone or wood, adding a moss/lichen
Far > a huge map to adding a normal/height variation.
