Solved: dDo not showing the textures or anything in the project

Hey I just re downloaded Quixel and now when I apply anything to my asset it doesn't show up in the DDO project area, so I cant edit any properties I wondered if anyone knew what I needed to do to fix this.

Hey Avariam!

Please try this:

Close Photoshop and the SUITE
Right click on Photoshop, run as administrator
Close Photoshop
Run the Suite

Let me know if it continues to persist after that.

Your CrossApp button appears to be enabled - try disabling that and see what happens.

I have tried to, not sure if i am doing it wrong though, how do i go around disabling it? Also DDO starts up as if it is already in a project, instead of starting up in the new project mode.

That's very strange. Perhaps try uninstalling the SUITE and then reinstall? Something appears to be borked for sure.

At this point I would recommend uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling it, alongside reinstalling the Suite with a fresh installer from Quixel.se. I'm not sure what would cause this issue but it appears that one of the two applications isn't talking properly to the other.

Sure thing!

I hate suggesting a reinstall, but sometimes that's all that will solve a problem. The other day, my copy of Photoshop CC 2014 decided to start taking upwards of five seconds to register clicks while using the direct selection tool for path editing. I know nDo inside and out, so I know that wasn't the problem, but I started Photoshop without the SUITE and noticed that the problem persisted. I upgraded Photoshop to the latest version of CC 2014 and the problem was still there. The only thing that brought back responsive path editing was uninstalling and reinstalling 2014.

Sometimes that's all you can do. :frowning:

I had the same problem, but one project that previously was working continued to work while another one failed with the above issues. I had to reinstall Photoshop to get it to work again.

Well, I experienced this problem too. Folders in dDo dissappared after update to 2.1.2. Synasthesia's tip solved problem after rebooting Quixel two times. Anyway, thanks!
