I think I like 1 & 2 the best. I don't think the Skana should ever go too bulky/chunky, it's meant to be a finesse weapon after all.

yeah man, i went with 3. im adding a few more components though after looking at some more infested designs like the scoliac. Thanks for the comment

Really nice concepts! I definitely agree that out of what you had, 3 was the way to go. It retains the slimmer and sleeker feel to it that the Skana has that would overall fit better as a weapon swap. Looking forward to seeing more.

Hey guys, heres an updated WIP of the infested skana. Still lots to do, but the shapes are coming along. Things I've changed from the concept - Added tech (most infested weapons have some sort of high tech detail), added dimension on the X axis (again, to follow infested designs a little more closely). Let me know what you think!
Yeah i know its a bit lumpy at the moment, but more updates to follow!

Like how it's coming together. Good idea, good changes as you've gone (slimmer is wise, as it'll still feel wide for a sword without the "why doesn't that do impact damage" sort of thing).

I find Infested a real channel to pull off, but realized that a bit of ref from the ZB file for what Mynki did with the Mire might be helpful:

Adding a more "infested" look to the blade, will try finish the high poly by tonight, so I can lowpoly by the weekend, and crunch the texture before submission is due!
