My girlfriend has been locked up in a restaurant near the zone. She's ok at a friend place now. I'm at home watching news. People are giving news on Facebook. I hope there's no one i know there. Bit shaky

This is what bound to happen at a moment or another. I don't wanna bring political matter into Polycount but the tension rising from all this massive incoming of refugee would've had to explode at one point or another...

Stayed home and to my knowledge all my friends are fine, I was worried because many like The eagles of death metal and we regularly go to the bataclan for shows together. The neighboorhood they targeted is where many parisians like to go out for a drink or music, these guys knew where to hit after their somewhat failed attempt at the football stadium, brainwashed fuckers...

This is so sad and so pointless.

I just want to reiterate what this thread is about, checking on the status and safety of Polycounters, their friends, family, and fellow game developers, in France.

Conspiracy theories, petty political bickering or calls for violence are extremely disrespectful and will get this thread closed. There is an unlimited amount of websites on the internet to have these conversations or vent your frustrations, Polycount isn't one of them.

I live and work in Paris, so far no one I know seems to have been "directly" touched, hopefully that won't change tomorrow when I go to work...
This kind of thing is super-shitty when it happens anywhere in the world, when it's where you live, and for the third time (and each time worse than the previous one), it really starts to get to you...

And I'll stop my post here before I start ranting against certain people and disrespect the sensible request of the mods (thanks guys!)
