Autodesk is rolling out "what's new" in their 2014 line up

Im starting to get annoyed by these yearly versions when they should be just an inexpensive patch.

VictorH, I tend to agree. But this year actually seems to have some awesome improvements! Still, if they gave you a free update every year, like Zbrush, I'd be quite content.

Typically they come out in mid April, so next month sometime.

Blender, ZBrush, and maybe modo 701 as back-up. I don't really need anything else these days. Not from Autodesk, anyways. Minimal and slow changes, unmeritedly-large early prices. And still no free updates to those who bought their expensive minimal changes. Autodesk is pulling a Microsoft--making people not need them much anymore.

Finally a version update to Maya that is worth the time and money. Maya hasn't seen a decent update since it was an Alias product!
