Battlefield and Call of duty are very different multiplayer games, I have no damn idea why people keep comparing them.
Pretty good gameplay footage, definitely looking forward.

I'm a bit disappointed by re-usage of old models without baked normal maps(memory saving?)
Intro flyover shot look very similar to what we're already seeing in BC2, so I guess there must be some radiosity rendering radius.

Lachtan, as far as I know, DICE doesn't bake things due to time constraints, except for characters maybe. It really doesn't bother me.

@Alberto They're usually just chamfering edges on models to give it a better look, watch those models closely and you will notice.

@lachtan interesting on this no local maps , other than time and memory. I thought the local maps where to help with memory ??? what are the benefits to not having a local information if you already have to call up diffuse spec ect ..

damn this game is crazy hype.... I have to say if any of you pick this up hopefully you bring your A game when you play me...
