Quad Chamfer for 3dsmax2010+
Why hello there Quad Chamfer, where have you been all my life? obliviboy heard our rancorous saber rattling over the issue and released Quad Chamfer
So we've all lamented time and again about the chamfer tool in max and how it creates a triangle nightmare. There have been various work arounds and hack fix work flows over the years but nothing really seems to fit the bill and they all seem to take longer than they should to actually achieve good results. Well obliviboy stepped up to the plate with Quad Chamfer V1.0

The only downside is that it costs, but if its as good as it looks, I really don't mind dropping 10 eur on it.
Of course everyone would like it to be free and for those people one of the many crazy work round ideas, linked to above, will probably do you fine... You're also free to invent your own script, but you would probably want to be compensated for the hard work... which leads us to...
