Here is a project I've been working on. I can't quite figure out what is wrong with the face and its driving me insane. If anyone could throw some help out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you might need to scale the head vertically just a little.

It looks like the concept might have a bit more cheek bone, cheek and jawline. I think if you push the tufty bits that point out on either side back so they sit closer to the rear corner of the jaw you might get abit closer.

I don't think you're a long way off. It's mostly a case of defining things a bit better.

I agree with Steve about the head. Also consider making the hands larger, and the torso a bit shorter.
