If anybody uses Autodesk products with a 4k monitor you are probably aware that they don't scale properly, namely the text in proportion to the selection boxes.
So far I have been getting by this by setting the resolution back to 1920 x 1080 and then relogging and setting it back to 4k. This seems to start my max 2016 in the standard resolution without any scaling junk while keeping the 4k resolution. Has anybody found any other bypasses or fixes?

can anyone else confirm?
You can put a 200% scale option in photoshop, but then it looks like you are using a computer for children and your 4k has less space then before. I run native now with no windows scaling (Win10) as it fucked up the scaling of my other monitors too, even when only set on one monitor. So everythig in small now, the rest was unworkable for me.
Got used to it after 2-3 days but I also have good eyesight
In hindsight Id buy rather another 1440p or 1600p for a more "normal" PPI , 4k on 27" is rather dense and while nearly everything is ok, the tiny menus on top left
are kind of hard on the eyes.
Maya, 3dsMax, Autocad, Stingray, etc are completely different pieces software with different code bases and UI.
So it might help to specifically say what versions of what software and what hardware/software you are using.
