Does cleanup saying more than 4 sides matter?

I am making a gun and Maya 2015 mesh cleanup tool said I have no issues on my half model. Then I mirrored and all hell broke loose.

Now 348 faces it says have more than 4 sides despite the fact that they don't because when I select each one at a time and convert selection to edges my HUD says theres only 4.

Tried exporting to OBJ and back but issue still persists. What i'm wondering is if its really an issue with my mesh or just a cleanup tool bug and my mesh is fine?

    Did your weld mess anything up when you mirrored? Maybe a pic would help. Or an obj if you don't mind. If it's for a game, then it's all going to be triangulated. So technically it might not be an issue, unless something [weiiiiird] is going on, then it is probably a problem. :)

    When you select one of the faces that Cleanup complains about, how many triangles does the HUD report?

    Ok egg on face time :( turned out the faces with zero map area was on as well. Gah i'm so dumb.
