Well Zbrush really eats up ram, try upgrading to 4 or 8 gigs, you can easily find a 8 gig kit for under $45. It's really easy to install, even if you don't know much about computers. In the task manager, how much ram does it say is being used when working in Zbrush?
With so little ram I hope you're running Windows XP, as any OS after that will eat it like candy by comparison (I've seen people get XP to use under 100mb or ram). That said, a lot of programs have ditched XP support atp, or are planning to do so in the near future. 2GB total system ram just isn't enough these days, let alone for demanding programs like ZBrush.
