Hey mates it seems Umbra Devs are making a twitch about their dev process. If interested jump in !

    A couple takeaways I got from stream:


    - They use Kythera AI system which allows that fight upon the moving Giant thing.

    - They were 3 people most of the time. Bu they had part-time help for assets and optimization. Game is really alpha by the way.

    - The dungeon are randomly generated. It will have a generator that will allow that.

    - Physics are real time and does not interfere with AI. You can destroy big columns and stuff.

    - Particles are also phyc-related. So there is magical vortex. You shoot fireballs, sparkles from that fireball will be sucked in that vortex.

    - Environment effects gameplay. Classic one: if you are wet you will be susceptible to ice magic etc...

    - Modding will be allowed ( love ! )



    Cool stuff #2 = There is this high level shadow skill that allows you to leave your physical form and hide into your shadow. In that form you can jump from your shadow to any other shadow around, instantly teleporting there.


    Cool stuff#3 = Game looks gorgeous when you zoom in
