Its been a few years since the last one, I think the "Polycount Brawl: Super Turbo Championship Edition Remix" is well overdue.

yes, but please nothing sponsored that forces a theme or software upon contestants , also something with strick guidelines in texturesize and triangle count. creativity within boundries !

Textures made with only material nodes (aka. No Photoshop) would be insane, but incredibly educational.

I'm still confused how that might even be possible given the conversations I had with a DICE LA Technical Artist.

I'd be interested. I had a fun time doing the last Brawl, and doing a new character for that sort of thing using modern specs and tools would be an interesting challenge.

Are you asking for another BRAWL competition specifically, or another competition that see's environment artists and character artists coming together under a common theme?

I would love to see another Brawl comp specifically. Its been a fair amount of time since the last one so it would be interesting to see the difference between the results then compared to what we might see now. Plus, im sure there are a lot of younger artists who never got a chance to enter the last one.
