Maya envelope issue
Hey all,
Pretty straight forward question. I'm trying to bake a normal map, I've separated the object to explode. My object has about 10 pieces. My issue happens when I'm trying to increase the envelope on some sub objects only. It works for the 1st 5 but as I make my way down the list it stops moving, no increasing, no decreasing... Nada. Some research told me to reset maya, reset my comp, have a drink and it should be fine. Lets just say if I followed those steps to heart I'd be pretty loaded right now.
Anyone know why this is happening?

Are the sub objects parented to a main object or are they loose, and added into Transfer Maps separately? Did you delete history on them?
deleting the history worked!!
Now for my normal map problem lol... I'm gonna need some hard liquor
