Hi there! I'm working on sculpting a tree stump. Was wondering what you guys think about it and if i'm on the right track.
Renders done in keyshot (not to make it look better than it is, obviously...)
Still WIP, will make lowpoly when im done with it and texture it.

the first thing that sticks out to me is there are no roots at the base. if it's a tree stump then the base would still be rooted in the ground. not sure what type of tree you're making but maybe you could also tweak the shape to give it a less uniform, less cylindrical look.
I really want to see your texturing process!
