Captain Ahab! The Harpoon gun from Sunset Overdrive.
Volpin Props made a replica of this weapon for PAX Prime and I love the whimsical nature of it, so I chose to tackle it and create a lifelike version of Volpin's interpretation of the weapon!

Also, I just realized the grip details didn't get symmetried over. Oops.
And I did it again... no grip details on the back side. ><
Anybody know why my composite material freaks out sometimes when I render my low wireframe?

Still have to do all the hand painting of the fun/interesting details on the side of the weapon as well as the harpoon head.

Oh, and if anybody has any good reference on making a plastic bottle read well, I'd love to see it. Been searching for something - *anything* - that would make this work and I seem to be coming up short.
