AWAITING CONFIRMATION: grey lines between the different materials

Hi guys! I have a problem with the masks in DDO.

I have created masks in Photoshop and it does not matter how sharp i make the masks it will alsways create a grey line between my IDed areas.

Does anyone have this problem too or know what to do?

Oh, i am using CS6 and a 4K TGA. Suite version is 1.8.

Hi!

The reason for this might be that the borders between your colors are not sharp enough,
if you zoom in to 100% how does it look? Painting with a hard edged brush should hopefully solve this!

Hi Eric,

the grab looks a little too blury. I have leveled my masks to be really sharp. If i sharpen any mor ei have no antialiasign left, but i can try that.

cverhoolen: Yes you'll have no antialiasing for a hard edged mask. That's how they're supposed to work.
That said you can do some mathematical tricks to help compensate but ideally you'd have a hard edged mask, meaning no antialiasing at all. Those little few blended pixels are messing up your material selection in engine.
