  Has anyone managed to get this plugin to work with Maya 2015/2016? I'm really missing it in my workflow
  
  I've seen they have released the source code on github but It's kind of beyond me as to how to compile it and make it work with Maya 2016

  I believe UV Deluxe or Nightshade UV should work for pixel density with UV maps.

  Cheers @beefaroni nightshade does it perfectly. The interface is a bit of a nightmare just for one button though! The button to switch back and forth between the standard uv editor and nightshade helps with that at least.
  
  If there is anyone clever out there who has managed to port the good old renderheads UVautoratio plugin to maya 2016 and would like to share, it would still be massively appreciated...
