SOLVED: dDo : the command "set" is not currently available ddo

Hi there,

got a little issue with dDo when I start it.

I'm using Photoshop CS5 english version and Quixel 1.6.

Got this message when I try to create materials :

"The command set is not currently available."

How can i fix this problem ?

I've gotten that error since I started using the Quixel Suite.

I just hit OK and pretend it didn't happen. :-)

The "set" alert doesn't cause any problems that I can see. I may be wrong...?

This error is indeed annoying. I have to dismiss the message 6 times every time I create a new project. How often you get the message depends on the materials that are applied to your IDs. The standard chrome for example causes 6 popups, Quartz causes 4, Fresh Asphalt causes none.

I'm running CS4 11.0.2.

Sometimes when I got this "set" alert, it's causing me some issues in creating material.. I don't why but one (sometimes more) of my layer just vanish like it was never here after the "create base" step.

This bug is really annoying.

I guess I will have to install CS6 or above to solve the problem.

Edit : I just installed Photoshop CC X64, no more "set" alert.

Thanks guys! This is FINALLY fixed! It turned out to be a CS3-CS5 specific error and the fix will be made available as of 1.7. Huge thanks for reporting this and really sorry about the hassle.

But if it's CS3-CS5 specific, then how come I'm experiencing it in CC 2014?

Hi Kosai106,

This happened 100% of the time for CS3-CS5, but it's not been a widely reported issue for CC 2014. The fix bleeds over to all versions of PS however, so if you have also been experiencing it and we are indeed talking about the same issue, it will be fixed for CC 2014 as well.

I've experienced it whenever trying to create a Hard-Surface Height Map. I would get the error without fail each time.

I have upgraded to 1.7 and I am using CS6 but it still occurs when I try to create the hard-surface height map. Any ideas why this could be?

lordsme - It´s not possible to use it on normal maps that are not made in NDO, or maps created with multinormal. It´s a known bug that will fixed in the next release. Sorry about that.
