  Looking really good. I like the style you got going. I'm not sure about the scratches on the wooden part of the shield. They look kind of small. Especially because the metal in the middle has these huge slashes cut out.

  Yeah this looks great. I'm not crazy about the scratches on the wood either. They look too uniformly placed. Also the "scratches" on the metal center part of the shield should not be deeper than the scratches on the wood. I would think the wood scratches would be cut deeper.

  I really like those proportions but the biggest problem I have with it is his waist, and how it looks much narrower beneath the belt than above it as if he has a mad muffin-top going on. But nice work besides that, I like how you've done the hands.

  So...I've created a texture for the piggie using some bakes from the high poly sculpt and some paint over. Now I've begun to re-topo the viking and try and get it to the same level as the pig.
