I have to agree that you are almost completely losing the silhouette of the original character. The armor just looks way too thick and heavy. While I like the execution, I think this skin just doesn't make any sense for this character. Just my opinion...

rather that repeat what as been said, like i was going to in different words XD, I will just give a reassuring thumbs up and agree with the previous two posts.

Also there was something nice about your sketch that you are losing in the model.

I think start be removing the armor on her legs. Its way to much. Think more like this.

Uncover her face. Have it so that the armor covers only half or her arm and is fabric on the under sides. Have the chest and hip armor as two seprate chunke, so remove that scaled armor going don to her crotch.
