Edge loop tool-3dsmax??

Does anyone know if there is a way to replicate insert edge loop like in Maya in 3dsmax? Creating edge rings everytime before using the connect is repetitive especially for very complex and extensive modelling.

Are there any plugins to make this tasks faster?

To do it even faster, make yourself a hotkey for Swift Loop and Connect functions.

Also assign shortcuts to Edge Loop, Edge Ring and Connect. I have it on Ctrl+1 = Select Edge Loop, Ctrl+2 = Select Edge Ring and I use space key for Connect.
And swift loop is awesome!
I have it on Ctrl+Space which activates it and then I can I just hold Shift to make the new edge loop follow the polygon flow. Definitely check each option for those ribbon tools using F1.

I have Swift Loop binded to `(the ~ key) and use the alt key on the loop I just made to shift it around. There is also Ctrl+Shift+E which just connects your selected edges right down the middle.

Can work on pretty much any complete loop
