Just making my progress thread, so here's an initial rough sketch/ silhouette. Im still very new to painting in photoshop so any and all advice or tricks are greatly appreciated!

This will propably be a dark picture so his lamp and his head will propably end up beeing the brightest things on the picture. You'd do well by paying attention to your composition with that in mind.

I was just going to probably have him ripping the soul or something from a prisoner with his hook. so the one being pulled having a pit of a translucent bluish/green color and the body falling away looking drained.
