Maya 2015: Where are the Subdivs?

Hi there,
So I've been getting used to the nuances and annoying changing around of things in Maya 2015 lately. One thing I've always wanted to get decent at is Subdiv modeling since last time I used it crazy things happend, so I figured I'd finally give that a shot.
Unfortunately, Maya 2015 seems to have changed this as well. I can't find where the Subdivs are anymore. They aren't in the Create menu and I can't seem to find any evidence of them besides the Modify option to convert to Subdivs.
Can anyone point me to where it is located?

I did read somewhere that they're still there, but, much like the Split Polygon Tool, is hidden and only accessible by script. Unfortunately, it didn't mention how to access it. Is this true?
The SplitPolygonTool is still available by command yeah. Just run SplitPolygonTool as a MEL command
kodde, lol. OpenSubDiv does do that adaptive/localized resolution tricky stuff, I think that's closer to what they were trying to do at the time. Except we can use actual editing tools this time around...
