Hey folks! I'll be joining the fun with this comp. Here are some initial sketches I've done for the helmet design. I'm still trying to figure out which one I will go with in the end. Though I am leaning towards design number 2 and 3.

I agree that the second perhaps resembles Dragonbone to much. I've incorporated the horns from the second one with the third helmet design.
Also added some sketches of some messer sword designs. I'm leaning towards 1 or 4.

Here is high poly of the helmet. Let me know what you guys think! I'm probably going to add a symbol of the Mason(eagle) on the back.

Alexd: Thanks! My focus was definately intended for the guard and handle area.
I'm thinking of adding engravings to tie the helmet and weapon together to look like they belong in a set. Here are some reference I've been using.
I'm still debating the engraving at this point, however since we are near the end I should start texturing.
