[Chivalry] - Mason Knight -Dead Kennedy's Set

Hi all!
Thank you Polycount and Torn Banner for this contest! Chivalry is one of my favorite MMO now! Usually i am playing as a knight with my favorite weapon maul. My in-game nick is dead_kennedy and I think it would be nice to have my own maul (if i'm lucky) and crush some more heads with it in game!))

This is my rough concept sculpt of maul

Also I'm planning to make helmet for Mason Knight based on the mason symbols.

Thx, man! I am not sure yet. Worn metal with red paint, blued steel, leather, wood, maybe some gold. Something like these)

Helmet design and color scheme research. What direction should i choose with the helmet? I will be grateful if you have any suggestions about this designs!

Dang, nice helmet designs. I'd go with either the first or the third one, but I'm leaning towards the third one with the perforated eye holes... it looks more scary!

I too like the perforated eye holes one. Although you might change the slope angle of the visor itself so that it has that "angry eyes" look and feels a bit more menacing.

Designs look great. I like the opened visor look in the middle. The others would be crazy tough to see out of especially with the claws blocking the peripheral vision.

Thank you guys for your advice! Ok, i will move forward with perforated eye design. I like this "faceless" scary style too. As ArtbyV said, i need to change claws position for it...

Like most everyone else is saying, I like the small eye holes. The way they bulge reminds me of the little mask falconers put on their birds so it works well with the Mason hawk.

I wanted to ask if weapons will ever be constrained to teams like helms, it seems odd to encourage emblem incorporation but then make the items/weapons accessible to both sides. As cool as this weapon is, Agatha is going to look kinda bizarre rocking it, no?

A: as in uzziels post, were allowing themes/design influences to be team specific however any direct iconography cant be in the weapons. The weapons wont be team specific for the foreseeable future.

this is a post in the Q/A thread... it's not allowed to use blatant team-specific icons in the weapons...

Well, this is really bad news) I dont understand, if so, why should we add specific team naming in our wip thread?

@pity I think it's probably ok since you are defining which side it is for. If that didn't matter they would have just said pick a class and probably would have specified for it to be team neutral.

this has been changed as it conflicted with the rules laid out in the contest page.
Team specific logos ARE allowed on weapons.
