Normal maps problem...

Hi all.
I have a problem with this normal map.
I tried to invert Y channel, change smoothing groups, rebake with average normals with xnormal... I don't know why it turns out the same.
I'll post the unwrap so you can see if there's a problem there maybe...

Probably you do an export from 3ds to some other soft?
Did you exported an obj? Try to export triangles instead of quads or vice versa.

I export the LP in obj format, triangulated.
I export the HP in obj format, quad
Then I put the meshes in xnormal, select average normals on LP and HP.
Run the 3D viewer.
Do the cage and save the SBM files and bake the normals.
But the result is always the same.

It appears that when you export the mesh, it has hard edges everywhere (no smoothing groups/split normals) and then it's being viewed on a mesh that is all a single smoothing group.

It could also be that your cage has problems with split normals too. Make sure every mesh you use/view has a single smoothing group, or all 'soft' edges.

Thanks Adam,
I tryed also making:
one smoothing group for the top pillow
one smoothing group for the below pillow
one for the structure
one for the belts.
Every piece had soft edges.
I'm beginning to think that the model is cracked...

It could also be the UV's. Have you tried remapping a part? Maybe just the the top bit as a test? You could have had an error at some point and the UV's appear fine, but could be a bit broken.
