Hat or misc does not bone merge with .dmx extension?

So I've had to move to the .DMX extension for shape keys, and I've ran into a problem; It will not attach to the head, it will float, attached to no bone. But the shape keys work!

Otherwise I looked into the file with notepad and saw bip_head in a bundle of letters, it seems to me that it should work, but It's not.

Any solutions?

This might be a bit offtop, but in QC, do you put the same code for .dmx as for .vta?

Actually, add me on steam. I'm working on a similar thing, and the .dmx + bone worked fine with me, but Shape keys didn't. We can troubleshoot together.
