I'd like to try a sort of 40's looking pilot on a sort of flying vehicle inspired by the P40 Mustang shapes. I'm still trying to find something that works and won't be to long to produce since there is the character AND the vehicle to make this time. I don't want it to be too spectacular and I'd like to have a sort of " normal " feeling on it.
Still have some work to do on the pilot (helmet etc..) and I'm not sure about the overall shape of the mount but I think I'm on a track for something that could fit what I want!

EDIT: To be a bit more constructive, I really like the silhouette of the pilot and that it's rather bottom heavy. I love the color choices you've made there. As far as the vehicles go, I really like what you've come up with in the center (the one that would have the pin-up chick on it). It's an elegant-looking machine that cuts a really nice figure.
I really love these designs, i'm with Dash, top right and bottom mid are just awesome. Nothing interrupts the large forms which gives a super sleek feeling.
Kurt Russel Fan Club : Yeah I'd like the vehicle to be light so the pilots get protection with ther outfit. It was the plan to cover only the top of the body but I'm still looking for a good solution about that !
Small update on the Mount ! I still have to add story telling details on it and some parts seems too futurist for what I want. I'd like to have the strong feeling of " petrol " in it.
I couldn't work as much as I wanted but I've finally defined what I needed on the character and I think I'm ready to start the 3D production !!
lightbird : I'll use Zbrush and 3DS max I guess ( I dont know anything else anyway ).
I love how the wings protrude in front of the nose.
The mask is a little generic but maybe that's a good thing for balance.
