I've been looking for a thread for a long time now but now I really need to find it. (sorry if this breaks any rules)
A Polycount user had made a set of 512X512 or 256X256 textures and divided various details between the different channels so he could get a multitude of uses out of one texture.
One scene he compiled was a desert scene with a large metal structure in the distance
He also made a slum city scene. if someone is able find it or find something very similar I would be extremely grateful.
