Hello Polycounters, I have a really bad PC on which I can't do much except maybe, basic texturing and modeling on Maya...
(It's a 2006 Vista Windows with an outdated graphic card and processor with 2 GB of ram..)

I am working to buy a new tower which will run smoothly 3D applications and game engines.

On the meantime, I wanted to add a modeling piece to my portfolio.

It's room with low-poly assets and a low-poly game character. Textures won't be of high resolution and I'm planning to use cheap coloring methods such as vertex color.

My only problem is with the shading and lighting.

I wanted to use a real time renderer so mental ray won't do.
I don't have money to pay for Unreal Engine 4 and I think it may be too heavy for my shitty PC to handle.

It tihnk Unity might work but you have to pay to get access to advanced lighting settings and shaders..

Do you guys know any good real-time game renderer that doesnt require a big spec PC?

For info, it's a cartoon piece with hand-painted textures, with pre-baked occlusion, light maps and such.

HELP!!
