How would i unwrap - Where can i learn unwrapping better?

so i have been trying for some hours and have been searched alot on how to unwrap but i still don't get it, i'm not sure when to put a seam or where, for example on this model i made.
But i'm not sure how i would unwrap it because i don't understand where i would put the seams, yeah i heard it is like a paper but i still don't get it when it is on a model like this or any other model

The picture called 22 is where it is obvious
How would you cut these pieces of cloth, so it fits your model best?
The unwrap in the second post actually looks pretty good. Don't worry too much about uv's that do not match well.
Basically what you want to do is limit the amount of seams you have. (This is a rule of thumb, with experience you will be able to judge better where to put seams, add or remove them.)
And when you are actually painting your textures, worry about hiding them then.
