ZBrush radial symmetry gone wrong!

Hey all been working on a Wheel project of mine at the minute to get the hang of Zbrush again and when doing scratches I’ve noticed something rather strange happening that I hoped you could help with.


Instead of the radial points all pushing into the mesh as you would expect it seems to only be getting direction from the original point (it’s a little difficult to get an image example).

An example would be if I had a 4 point radial the first point would get indented as intended, the side 2 would receive a more week of an indent and the point on the opposite side wouldn’t be indented but inflated!

I tried radial on a new model but it works fine and I don’t really want to start the sculpting from scratch so any help would be really appreciated.
