Video game studio job interview

Hello everyone!

So I have an interview for an environment artist position at a game studio where I live.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice and tips, I've had a vfx job interview once but never a video game studio interview. I'm wondering if anyone has some solid advice from their experiences and how they nailed the interview.

Sadly they seem to have stopped creating more podcasts. But The Game Industry Mentors did an episode on interviewing for the job. I listened to this before I started interviewing for jobs and it really helped a lot.

Exactly what this person said. Also if you have a Ipad find a portfolio gallery app then put your work on it, and bring it with you to the interview. Just as a backup.

Just to follow up with everyone, I think my interview went fairly well, it went more like a crique of my portfolio, and reel rather than an interview, they told me that if I wanted to make changes i could send the HR lady updates to my current reel on the suggestions and feedback they gave me, the HR lady then suggested i make the changes and send them back, and she would pass them along
